1. Job Purpose:
Ensure prompt assessment and detection of financial risks that may adversely affect the company’s operation efficiency, objectives and profitability; and promptly report to the Risk Manager/ Chief Risk Officer for taking appropriate measures / remedies
2. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deliver an overall financial risk management framework, policies and process for the Company;
- Analyze the company’ exposure to key risks (including market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, insurance risk, etc.)
- Monitor and manage market, liquidity and equity risk positions across the enterprise
- Manage ALM and portfolio strategies considering market conditions and the economic and business environment.
- Use sensitivity analysis and stress testing to assess its market risk exposure.
- Report on each of its material risks and risk profile on a regular basis to senior management and Risk Management Council.
- Additional duties as assigned.
3. Qualification: Bachelor or post-graduate diploma in Finance, Banking, Mathematics or related fields;
4. Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in insurance field or finance, (or alternatively in finance, banking, and/or audit) with in-depth and hands on exposure to the financial risk management are required;
- Skills and experience in Quantitative analysis and Data mining/ Statistics/ Financial Mathematics/ Risk Management. Certification Attainment of professional designations such as FRM, CFA, CESA, etc. will is more preferable
5. Language: Fluency in English speaking and writing
6. Communication: Good communication and presentation skills
7. Interpersonal Skills: Logical thinking, ability to work independently and good analysis; Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented, organized.
8. Knowledge of the COSO Enterprise Risk Management Framework
9. Interpersonal Interactions Internal : Ability to work collaboratively with partners in other functional units; to influence and lead people across cultures at a senior level
